What are some good online indie stores that sell organic and/or vegan clothing?

Question: What are some good online indie stores that sell organic and/or vegan clothing?
I’ve been becoming more environmentally friendly recently, and I want to take it a step further by wearing vegan and organic clothing, accessories, etc.
I’d like a long list so I can have choices, but even a few websites will be a big help.

Thanks. :)

Here are some:
www.jonano.com
www.thegreenloop.com
www.bluecanoe.com

and many more.
Just Google it. (:

But just saying here, organic clothing isn’t cheap.
It’s a tad but expensive.
I bought a pair of organic jeans for $ 200.
So, yeah.

Luck finding some stores.<33

I know vegans from birth and they’re some of the healthiest people I know.
Not only did they get a diet rich in fruits and vegetables there entire life they also aren’t emotionally attached to food like a lot of people and their parents knew which vitamins and minerals were going to be low or missing on a daily basis and supplemented from 6 months old.
They’re perfectly healthy people.

What vegetarian and/or vegan protein stays with you the longest?

Question: What vegetarian and/or vegan protein stays with you the longest?
I am fasting from sundown tonight till sundown tomorrow for Yom Kippur. When I ate animal products, my family would serve meat before the fast because they said it took longest to digest and would keep you satisfied and not hungry for longer.

What kind of vegetarian and vegan proteins (or other foods in general) will keep me feeling full the longest?

You can find sites on the internet that will give you foods to combine to make up complete protein. But I’d guess something that includes beans since they’re a good source of protein for vegetarians. Beans and rice make up complete protein.

Q&A: I follow a vegan diet and have food allergies. What are some good options for eating out and/or at home?

Question: I follow a vegan diet and have food allergies. What are some good options for eating out and/or at home?
I usually have no problem finding vegetarian/vegan options at any restaurant. However, since I’ve learned of my food allergies (sesame, sunflower, tree nuts,) I’ve been reluctant to eat at restaurants! It’s difficult enough to find options to eat at home (since many vegan options include sunflower oil.) How can I find away to eat out or even at dinner parties? I’m embarrassed to tell hosts all of my dietary restrictions!

Good luck! Trust me, it could be worse. I can’t have any gluten, plus I’m allergic to most animal products. So I do vegan without the bread. I mostly just order salads when I go out to eat. It’s usually easier to stay at home though. Waiters look at me like I’m from another planet when I ask for a gluten free menu. They have no idea what that is.

But the bet thing I can tell you is to stick with the basics. People are healthier eating less processed foods anyway. You don’t always have to buy prepackaged foods. It’s healthier, cheaper and hypoallergenic to cook from scratch. You can also bring your own condiments to restaurants with you. For example, you can order a salad and bring your own dressing or a potato and bring your own toppings for it. Also, big buffet places with salad bars are usually good. I kind of eat rabbit food though, so maybe you wouldn’t find that very appetizing!

Are you finding many vegan restaurants in your are? We don’t really have any here. I usually can’t eat at them anyway, because most vegan food contains gluten of some sort.

I have a baby Robin. Found it on Sunday. Is there somewhere online to buy worms and/or “robin food”?

Question: I have a baby Robin. Found it on Sunday. Is there somewhere online to buy worms and/or “robin food”?
I’m getting tired of digging worms and running to the bait shop. It would be cool if I could buy in bulk and pay with paypal or check or money order or something. Please help. The bird is doing really well. Found him on the sidewalk with five other baby birds, all but two were dead. The other one left alive was almost dead. The one I’ve got was in great shape, except for one of his legs which was swollen. The swelling has gone down and he is becoming more vocal and active. His eyes are starting to open. Unfortunately I am on a budget and he wants to eat every 20 to 60 minutes depending on the time of day. I want him to live, but I don’t want to spend a fortune on worms. HELP!

try giving it birdseed or bread, or even bread dipped in water. just make sure it has access to water. it may be a good idea to phone the RSPCA for advice – they may even collect it for you and look after it. keep it warm as well. good luck, to you and the robin!
