Question: Another questions. Please help?
My girlfriend keeps saying ” I’m fat. ” and I just have to disagree with her, because she really isn’t. Sometimes, this becomes a conflict.
” I’m fat! Really! ”
” No, you’re not. I promise. You’re beautiful! ”
” No, I’m fat! ”
and it continues. Her tone will change into what sounds like she’s annoyed. I wish she would accept my opinion of her beauty – I tell her she’s the most beautiful girl I’ve ever met and she really is, but I can’t see to open her eyes to it.

She’s told me ” You don’t have to look at my body everyday. ” as if I would get tired of looking at her and start thinking she’s ugly or something. She’s always going to be beautiful to me – through looks, personality, etc.

I wish she wouldn’t talk so low of herself sometimes, and would take my word. I think of her very highly and I hate to hear he do this.

What can I do? How can I prove to her? Will she eventually believe me?
Excuse me for my grammar errors.

Another chapter from my story, plz comment?

Question: Another chapter from my story, plz comment?
Bailey was quick to get off of the bus. With her nose filled with dry blood, she couldn’t wait to run to the nurse’s office. Her nose hadn’t bled in years. The last time she had a nosebleed, it was in the third grade. It was so hot outside during recess that the blood started pouring out of her nose. She had forgotten how much it hurt.
“Bye, bitch!” she heard Maria call.
“Whoa,” Jamie’s voice said.
Bailey looked at her. She had on a Mickey Mouse t-shirt with brown suspenders. Bailey had been looking everywhere for them, but they were difficult to find.
“Don’t ask,” she sighed.
“Maria gave you a bloody nose?”
“Of course.” Bailey still had her hand over her nose.
“You just can’t catch a break, can you?”
“That’s it,” said Bailey. “The world hates me. But I kind of deserved being punched after calling her fat.”
Jamie laughed uproariously. “It’s not like you were lying!”
“Well, she did call me ugly first.”
The girls entered the school building. The moment she entered through the door, she was greeted with laughter. Olivia, Ginny, Brenda, Ashly, and the others were all pointing at Bailey.
“Yay,” she said blandly. “I just made a grand entrance.”
“Ignore them,” advised Jamie. “They got nothing better to do. By the way, why’d you take the bus?”
“My father took my car keys because I tried to flush my progress report down the toilet.” explained Bailey.
“That stinks,” Jamie said sympathetically. “The bus is awful!”
“Don’t rub it in. Oh, I forgot to tell you something. You were right all along; that invite was a joke.”
“I’m so sorry,”
“I’m so stupid,”
“No, William is just persuasive,”
Bailey shrugged. She always got the short end of the stick. That one time she actually thought she was going to fit in, it turned out like Carrie. The only difference was that there wasn’t pig blood and fires involved.
“Guess where those directions led me instead?” she said to Jamie.
“Where?”
“Benford,”
Jamie’s mouth formed an O. Bailey just nodded in confirmation.
“Are you okay? Did someone try to mug you?”
“Well, there was this one old lady who asked for change at the gas station,” Bailey said. “But I wouldn’t consider that mugging.”
“Wow, they hate you that much to want you dead?”
“I guess so. I met a jerk too. He ended up putting gas in my car when I ran out, though.”
“Was he cute?”
“Like I care.”
“What made him a jerk if he put gas in your car?”
“Cause he asked me out on a date.”
“And?”
“But he said it in an arrogant way. Plus, he’s vulgar and he banged on my car window to get my attention as if he were trying to rob me.”
“Guys are weird,” Jamie said absently. “Anyway, I’ll see you in Geometry!”
“Later,”
Bailey walked down the hallway past several students who were staring at her. She caught William who was laughing with his friends. He looked her way when she got closer.
“How was Benford?” he shouted, gaining crude laughter from his friends.
“A walk in a park,” she said sardonically.
She managed to dodge out of their sight. She was planning on revenge, but she didn’t have it in her. She just wanted to lay low and make this week as decent as possible.

I also have another fanfiction. What do y’all think of this?

Question: I also have another fanfiction. What do y’all think of this?
Here it is.
It’s a supernatural fanfic.

I screamed out to Sam. ” Watch out!” God, I should have yelled sooner. He would still be here. Sam lay on the old table, motoinless, no sign of life in his wide green eyes. I took another swig of beer and everted my eyes from my little brother.

I looked up from the not-so-interesting floor to the sound of Bobby pulling up in his beat-up pickup and to him stomping up the creeking steeps.

” How ya holdin’ up, son? ” He said setting down some take-out food on the counter.

How was I holding up? What kind of bullshit question is that?

” How does it look like I’m ‘ Holding up ‘ ? ” I practically growled.

” Don’t you go usin’ that tone with me , boy, I’m just worrying about ya! ”

” Yeah ,well, I can take care of myself!”

That had no effect on his worry his face became more worried as he glanced at the corse that was once my brother. ” Don’t you think we should bury him or burn him? ”

” No! ” I yelled at the top of my lungs.

” The boy died a hunter! He should buried like one! ” He said equally as loud.

” I mean we aren’t burying him at all.” I said in a slightly lower voice.

” What? Dean, he’ll eventually start to rot. ” That struck a nerve, I shoved Bobby against the same counter he had put the food. ” Like hell he will! ” He jerked my hands off his shoulders.

” It’s the natural way things are. There’s no way to reverse it, without getting youself into a hell of a lot of trouble.” My jaw was set with determination as I brushed past him.

” I know. ” Was all I said on my way out the door.

The site of my car usually calmed me down, but my baby did little for me now as I strolled towards it. The site of it was a reminder of what I was about to do.

I clutched the neckless Sammy gave me one Christmas many years ago and whispered.

” Sam, I’m going to get you back if it’s the last thing I do.” I took one last took a the house I knew held my brother’s body, before I let the Impala roar to life.

The drive to the crossroads was agonizing. It went by sluggishly, my watches hands were going in slow motion. Each tick, Sammy was wasting away and it was all my fault. It was my job to protect him and I had failed miserably.

After an hour of the constant ticking of the second hand, I made it to the crossroads. I hastily put together the nessesary items in a small wooden box and buried in in the middle.

Now all that was left to do was wait for the demon-bitch to get here.

This wait was worse than the ride. I had no way of speeding up the time while waiting for someone else. I was impatiantly kicking up gravel when I heard a hight pitched, girlie laugh followed by the most annoying voise I’ve ever heard.

” Well, well, well, if it isn’t the Winchester boy, Where’s Sammy? Oh, wait that’s right, he’s pushing up daisies. Wonder if he’s enjoying himself down there? ” She gave an evil grin, while i gritted my teeth and balled my fist fighting the erge to punch the evil bitch.

” I didn’t come here for you to mock me, bitch! ” I growled

” Ok, enough pleasantries, what did come here for? Wait, no, let me guess. You want a trade, your soul to get poor little sammy back? ” She rolled her eyes as they flashed a dark crimson and turned back to their origonal brown color of the body she was in.

” That’s right, me for him. It’s a deal.” I said in a strained voice.

To his surprise the demon just said a flat ‘no’ before turning around and was about to leave.

” What the hell do you mean ‘ No’ ? ” I said pulling her arm so she was facing me. She smiled.

” I mean, no. I’d much rather go down there and terrorize your sweet, little, brother. ” I went to punch her but she was gone in a blink of an eye. I fell to my knees on the spot and cried. Shit! There has to be another crossroads around here.

Q&A: Yet Another “Homemade Baby Food” Question?

Question: Yet Another “Homemade Baby Food” Question?
Hi Moms! I’m starting (today) to make my own baby food for my 6 month old son. I’m going to the grocery store today, and need some input.

I was thinking…
carrots
broccoli
sweet/white potatoes
green beans
peas
plums
peaches
apples
avacado
grapes

Also, what foods should I stay away from?

What about meats? Starches?

Please give me more suggestions. Thanks in advance.
Also, I’ve heard that cooking in bulk and freezing is a bad idea. What’s your take on this. I was thinking of making a weeks worth of food at a time and freezing it.

you should try to stay away from most meats except white meat, until he’s a couple months older, and even then they must be pureed or cooked in water, so its soft enough for him to chew, and remember to drain all grease.

also, another food to try, is bananas. my son went nuts for bananas and anytime he cried while hungry (he started eating this stuff at 6mths as well) he’d smile if I said I was making bananas….and even now it remains one of his favourite foods.

stay away from anything with pork, eggs, and whole milk in it, e.g. yogurt. those things he shouldn’t have til he’s 12mths old. Also stay away from spices and heavy spices entirely until 1yo. Don’t use salt in your foods, even when boiling.

noodles are a great idea, and rice if cooked til soft and poofy will be good and easy for him to chew.

I’m having a bit of a tiff with another mother, she says my style of parenting is “off”! Loooong?

Question: I’m having a bit of a tiff with another mother, she says my style of parenting is “off”! Loooong?
I am a stay at home mother to 2 children. I cook most of the meals, occasionally, if he’s home in time, my husband cooks (he loves to cook). We rarely eat processed food and I make sure they eat a fairly healthy diet. They are allowed things like soda and candy but we rarely keep it in the house and they only get it if we happen to buy some. Same with potato chips and other “snacky” foods. We don’t tell our kids they CAN’T have them, we just don’t keep it around. Instead, our kids are allowed to get cut veggies, fruits, cheese, hummus, crackers–pretty much whatever they want that doesn’t have to be cooked or prepared (and isn’t full of sugar), as long as they eat dinner. Anyway, another mother at my son’s school was commenting on how small my children are and making comments about how I’m stifling my children by cooking all their food and watching their nutrition. She insists that her method of child rearing teaches “self-sustainment” (her word, not mine) and independence. Her non-school age kids go to daycare 3 times a week so she can have “me time.” She said she cooks “mostly out of boxes” because she can’t cook and doesn’t have time, and her kids wouldn’t touch a veggie if they were forced to, so she doesn’t make them. They have free access to snack cakes and soda because she said they need to learn how to restrain themselves by experience. All 3 of her kids are overweight, which she claims is because they are big for their age. She was offended when my son came over and declined a soda, and instead asked if she had any juice. She said no “normal” kid would’ve done that. She’s ticking me off because she is constantly bragging about how independent her kids are, and has even mentioned to the other mothers that my kids are going to grow up and get fat because they aren’t “getting it out of their system early” and will rebel. I don’t think this will be the case. In fact, I think her kids are walking time bombs and are going to have serious health problems. This woman is also very overweight and is always carrying around a soda. How can I get her to lay off my kids and my parenting style in front of the other parents?
