Question: what does it mean when a guy calls you thick?
look, so i’ve been called thick many times by a number of guys. i’ve played soccer my whole life and am in-shape and well-toned. my body fat % is like 20% (which is decent for girls). and i know that these guys must mean it as a compliment because it’s been said pre- and post-hookup, and one time during…BUT i still can’t help but hear “fat” every single time…am i overreacting? what does thick mean?????

thick means you’re curvy, and they like your shape it’s a good thing, nothing at wrong guys like it:) so don’t sweat it.

If you use margarine instead of butter you will just not have this delicious buttery taste. Otherwise it doesn’t affect the baking

My best friend always calls me ugly. Almost everyday she says something to insult me. Like yesterday, i have my hair scrunched for the first time and everyone said it was really nice and pretty but then I say hi to her and i ask her if my hair looks okay and she says “Its ugly. JUST KIDDING!!” and im just standing there thinking “B****, wtf??” and she always says “Just kidding! U were born this way!” then she starts singning born this way by lady gaga. its really getting on my nerves. then today, she was eating dots ice cream and some fell on my plate so i took my spoon and tasted it then she was like “thats fat.” and she didnt say just kidding or anything. and she always has this blank exprssion on her face when she does this. i tole her i already have low self esteem and she was like “I dont think you do. Ur pretty, smart, and talented!” I really dont understand this. one day she says something really mean, then the other day shes super nice. and she says im ‘socially-awkward’ when not alot of people like her and think shes weird. she also tells me”ur ugly! … just kidding!” almost every other day.
i dont understand!! help!

Tell her how it upsets you. If she says that it’s just a joke, that she didn’t mean to upset you, etc., but then continues to do it? Do it back. See how she feels about being called ugly. And then, when she confronts you, say,
JUST KIDDING 
!

I’m 12 5″1′ and weight 101lbs. My sister is always calls me fat. When we are in a fight she’ll call me fat but the simple way,”oh your fat” she’ll say “fat b*tch go to weight watchers” or “Fat ass.” I know I should tell my mom but when I do she’ll curse at her cause she feels bad for me cause i’m always been the sweet nice one to everybody and she sees I am sensitive so she’ll take my side. but the more she does that the more she’ll say that. The thing is that I am very sensitive and have VERY low-self esteem. When she calls me fat I want to kill my self with a knife cause last time she did it again to me and called me fat so I went into my room with a knife and try to kill my self. This year i’m in 6th grade and she changed my style and she expected me to feel pretty but I DON’T I explained to her that you can put any sh*t on me but i’m still the ugly under.
Do you guys have any combats I can use or any advice?

So I have to admit I am in fact fat I’m overweight. Also I’m not the most attractive person, i have disgusting acne (which i been struggling since middle school) I’m 19 years old and he is a year younger. My mom praises him by saying he is in fact attractive from all the family. I could care less what my brother says but what really hits me and till this day, he always says that his friends are always saying “that’s your sister?” “wow she ugly and fat” That hits hard. I struggle with my appearance and weight for a very long time. My parents ignore when he says these things. He thinks he is high and mighty. Cause he says that all the matters is his appearance (he works out a lot). In school? he sucks and not graduating like he should of been. He still acts like he high and mighty. But I don’t know, it does get to me sometimes. I trying to work on my weight, and my appearance. When my brother says “Your ugly” my mom says “who cares if she is ugly” and then she wonders why I have such low self esteem. It’s just a vicious cycle. And all i want to do is for him to STFU. All i can think of is losing weight, and trying to fix my appearance. I don’t know sometimes i do think I’m ugly, why? cause i never get complimented. My friends do they are always called “pretty” and stuff. I just the ugly friend. I don’t know i hate putting myself down. But I need advice. :/
lol talking to him is talking to a wall, he ignores everything and it does not process well in his mind. He not someone you can communicate with.

At 19 you should have learned that all brothers do this. They just do it to wind you up. I bet his friends said no such thing.

does anyone who feed him say “numb numb” ? My husband says numb numb (mm mm) when feeding out daughter.. my guess is that he is copying someone.
