Question: Is there a such thing as vegan cakes and cupcakes?
I’m a vegan now and I have always loved cupcakes and cake but I can’t eat them because I’m a vegan and they have eggs and milk in them. Soo, is there a such thing as vegan cakes and cupcakes? And if so, can you list the recipe if you have one??

You have heard of a search engine? Type “vegan cake and cupcake recipes“. While you’re at it, type “vegan” and make sure you understand all the ramifications of that as well, since you apparently gave this little prior thought.

Duncan Hines cake mix appears to be vegan friendly except for the eggs you are supposed to enter into the mix. I was hoping there is a quick fix for this since I would prefer not to bake the cupcakes completely from scratch. Thank you.

2 tbsp corn starch

2 tbsp arrowroot flour

1 heaping tbsp soy powder + 2 tbsp water

I didn’t want to use vanilla or buttercream because I feel like it will be too sweet, at the same time I don’t want to use chocolate either.
I’m looking for some sort of fruity flavor or tea flavor.

Lemon drizzle is what I thought of when I saw your question!!!! Its easy just put a couple cups of icing sugar into a bowl, grate in some of the lemon rind (none of the pith though) and then squeeze in maybe a teaspoon of lemon juice. Squeeze it in through your fingers to catch any pips. If its not loose enough to drizzle on your cupcakes, squeeze a bit more in until its to the consistency that you want it to be. If its too loose, just add more icing sugar and stir… Carry on until its just right then drizzle the icing over the cupcakes… Mmmmm!!!! Enjoy!!!

Question: What is a good recipe for vegan cupcakes?
I have a friend that is a vegan and she is celebrating her birthday in a month or two. I need to find a recipe that does not contain any animal products so, no milk, eggs, etc. It would also be helpful if there was a recipe for frosting as well. If you have personally tried it then tell me how good they are because I want to make the best ones!
