thanks

Surprisingly, most bread is vegan, especially bakery fresh bread that’s not full of preservatives like the kind at the grocery stores. You’ll just have to read the labels. Most non-vegan bakeries will have dozens of vegan bread, coincidentally.

Why are people considered to be vegetarians if some still eats eggs or cheese?

Question: Why are people considered to be vegetarians if some still eats eggs or cheese?
There are different sub-categories for vegetarians (vegans, lacto-vegetarians, etc). Don’t understand why eating eggs should still be under a separate class of a different type of vegetarian.

What can I use as a substitute for eggs in a vegan recipe?

Question: What can I use as a substitute for eggs in a vegan recipe?
I’ve gone vegan, and I’d like to bake some of my favorite cakes and cookies, but the majority of the recipes call for eggs. What can I use to replace the eggs? I’ve heard that I can just leave them out, but that I may end up with a cake that is on the dry side. Help!
Thank you!

I’m a vegan but want to start eating eggs again – will I get sick?

Question: I’m a vegan but want to start eating eggs again – will I get sick?
I have tried eating vegan sources of protein but I’m feeling weak, lethargic and forgetful. I want to eat egg whites again so I can feel better and reassess my diet once I’m feeling normal again. However, I am afraid to reintroduce them into my diet because a few months ago I unknowingly consumed a meat product and became very ill and I don’t want that to happen with eggs. Please help I need to get my health back in balance!

if you want to reintroduce eggs into your diet, do it slowly. start eating foods made with eggs (ie pastries) before you eat eggs on their own.

No, it is not for me and other people thinking with logic. The only way to curb factory farms is to curb population.

What can be a homemade vegan substitute for Eggs in baking?

Question: What can be a homemade vegan substitute for Eggs in baking?
Friends, I am baking for a local Buddhist temple, and I was allowed to use dairy. But I cannot proceed because I cannot use eggs–Buddhist monks are banned from eating eggs.

I plan to bake dinner rolls (a yeast bread) and cake (batter or quickbread). What vegan substitutes can I make at home? PLEASE, nothing pre-prepared or fancy products from the store. Those cannot be found where I live. Thanks.

Ener G foods has an egg replacer. You can also replace an egg by combining 1 tbs of ground flax seed in 3 tbs warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes. It will gel up and become the exact consistancy of an egg. Double the quantity according to how many eggs you need. Good luck!

What is a substitute for eggs in cake mix to make vegan cupcakes?

Question: What is a substitute for eggs in cake mix to make vegan cupcakes?
Duncan Hines cake mix appears to be vegan friendly except for the eggs you are supposed to enter into the mix. I was hoping there is a quick fix for this since I would prefer not to bake the cupcakes completely from scratch. Thank you.
