Question: Can anyone give me a good diet plan?
Can anyone give me a good diet plan? I want to get “ripped” fast but the only way to do that is by having a good diet plan. Can any body help me?
Ps. can you write down the foods im meant to eat one day and the next?
Answer:
Answer by Sarah.
Here are a few tips;
WHEN to eat for losing weight…
• Eat (at least) three times a day.
Because when you eat only once a day, your metabolism gets slower than it already is! That’s the main reason. Sounds funny, but to lose weight… you must eat (the right things, of course)
• Eat low-fat, high-fiber foods such as salads and vegetable pastas.
• Your last meal should be before 18:00. Try.
OK, one apple after 18:00
• Don’t starve
Starvation is not good for losing weight, nor your health.
Starvation is the worse thing you can do in a weight loss diet.
• Try oatmeal instead of cornflakes for breakfast–eating oatmeal can help reduce cholesterol levels, and its high fiber content will keep you full longer.
WHAT to drink for losing weight…
• Drink 6-8 glasses of water every day !
Can be tap, plain, mineral, sparkling. I just love mineral sparkling water!
This improves your bowel, reduces the “hunger” sensation, and hydrates your skin. Your skin will look much better after the first weeks!
Don’t believe the slogan “water makes me fat”. Beside being stupid… you might get into serious troubles with your kidneys.
• Drink ONLY natural juices, freshly squeezed!
Don’t drink Coca Cola, Pepsi, Spite etc. during the diet. Even lite or light versions.
Exercise for losing weight…
• If you want quicker results – exercise would be good.
• Don’t just sit in front of the TV and eat peanuts…
I guarantee THIS won’t work for your weight loss…
• Start a regular exercise program and stick with it. Don’t be afraid of those sweat suits and Lycra pants!
• Start swimming. Swimming is an excellent exercise to get involved with, since it increases blood flow and uses muscles we don’t regularly use. Start a swimming program and try to do it 3 times a week. You will feel excellent and rejuvenated.
• Choose an exercise program that you enjoy, and don’t shun the unconventional. For instance, did you know that regular vigorous dancing is exercise too?
• Also Cardiovascular exercises such as running, jogging, or aerobics will help you lose that unwanted belly fat. Weight training can also help you lose body fat because the more muscle mass you have, the more ability your system has to burn body fat.
Good luck!
Hope this helps.

Q&A: My daughter in law is always calling my grand daughter fat shes only two years old but can that give her low ?
Question: My daughter in law is always calling my grand daughter fat shes only two years old but can that give her low ?
Answer:
Answer by Lauren <3
I assume you meant low self esteem? I wouldn’t think at 2yrs old it would affect her very much, but it may cause problems within the next few years if she continues doing it.
I have a 2 yr old, and I vowed never to tell my daughter she was fat. The only thing (in my opinion) that will do is make her feel bad about herself. There are plenty of other alternatives to making a child skinnier/healthier. Chances are, your granddaughter is not fat at all. Toddlers are supposed to have some baby fat on them.
If however your granddaughter is overweight, shouldn’t it be her mom’s job to feed her healthier things and make sure she gets plenty of exercise? At that young of an age a child doesn’t know what “fat” is, or how to make the choices to change themselves.

Does the guitar or amp give distortion and what do pickups have to do with the sound?
Question: Does the guitar or amp give distortion and what do pickups have to do with the sound?
Answer:
Answer by bucwheat
Pickups convert the vibration of the guitar/bass strings to an electrical signal.
Different syles, types of pickups give you different tonal qualities.
Distortion is gererated by the amp by raising the gain and overdriving the amp. You can also generate distortion by using an effect pedal such as a Boss distortion or Overdrive. There are tons of them to choose from.

Can you give me some excuses to stay with my grandma for a week?
Question: Can you give me some excuses to stay with my grandma for a week?
I’m going to be living with my grandparents soon. I don’t know how soon, but we’re going to go to court about it. My parents don’t know about it and they hate that I stay at my grandparents’ house for no reason because I tried that when they were gone for a month and I wouldn’t come back home because I hated being verbally and emotionally abused by them every freaking day.
I’ve been going back and forth to each house for 2-3 weeks now. I can’t even sleep in my own bed at my house because I just don’t feel comfortable here. I have to deal with yelling, screaming, fighting, dogs barking, all the time. At my grandma’s house, it’s nice, quiet, calm, and just peaceful. No one will bother me and I love hanging out with my grandparents because they’re understanding. They’ve never yelled at me before. They’ve never yelled at my mom or her brother before.
My parents are loud, obnoxious, and just mean. They call me fat, ugly, slob, lesbian just because I wear t-shirts and pants all the time. They want me to wear shirts with like, LOTS of cleavage like, so low that your nipples are almost showing and they have to be super tight so “it sucks in your fat.” They also want me to wear skinny jeans that I can’t even fit into.
It’s my mom’s fault that I’m fat because when I was a little kid, I was like, pole skinny and my mom got scared, so she stuffed me with fattening food and now she still does that. She always makes me eat in front of her and if I want to eat at the kitchen table instead of watching TV and eating in the living room like everyone else, she says that I’m depressed because “I don’t want to be with the family” when I don’t like to eat in front of the TV. I don’t even like watching TV.
My father use to spank me and hit me on my face and arms when I was little for no reason at all. I mean, yeah, sometimes I deserved it, but not all the time. If I cried, he’d hit me again and tell me to stop crying or he’ll hit me again. Then, he’d push me into my room and close the door. So basically, he ****** up my childhood. I even have journals of when I was 6 saying, “I hate my life.” “I want to die.” “Is my life a mess?”
I need some excuses to stay at my grandparents’ house that my parents would actually agree on. I have no friends at my grandparents’ house (it’s an old people neighbourhood haha). My grandma’s teaching me how to cook. That’s basically the only excuse I have, but it doesn’t take a week to learn how to cook some things. Both of my grandparents are retired. Help me. Please. I hate this place.
Mary, I’m 16 years old, so I can’t just go =/ I wish I could, though.

I can see why you’d want to live with your grandparents and I’m pretty sure anyone would in your situation. Talk to your Nan and Grandad maybe they can help you and talk to your parents for you. I know you’ve probably tried this but if you haven’t then tell your parents how different your life is to everyone else and tell them how it’s there fault for making you not want to stay (basically make them feel guilty, so a tear comes to their eyes, ahaa.)
If none of this works then just tell the judges in court how they treat you I’m sure they won’t make you stay with parents who are treating you like that.
I know there not excuses but I don’t think excuses will really help you but letting them understand what your going through will.
Hope this helps
Good luck

Q&A: 8 week old kitten has worms, how much do I give of the STRONGID T deworming med; & when can I see results?
Question: 8 week old kitten has worms, how much do I give of the STRONGID T deworming med; & when can I see results?
8 week old kitten; STRONGID T deworming medicine claims .1 cc per lb of animal. I have oral syringe in ML (CC=ML) but it says .25ml as the lowest dosage.
Kitten does have “normal” stool that has only a trace of blood, “fat” or swollen belly, and I saw the roundworms, also.
When will I see results and when should I give him another dose of the medicine?
Tapeworms are typically flat, correct? No puking from cat (as of yet), but in the poop itself there is a worm (slightly rounded, whiteish) and about the size of a piece of rice.

Can you give opinions on my chapter?
Question: Can you give opinions on my chapter?
He took a turn down an avenue where the city park was located. Bailey’s father had taken her there on numerous occasions to feed the ducks with bread and marshmallows. In the day, the greenery and wide lake reflected the area’s beauty. The tall, brick architectural structures surrounded the area outside of the park. It was a great place to go wandering around at. It was too bad Bailey didn’t have any friends besides Jamie to do it with.
“This movie better be good.” he said in a faux-warning voice.
“The reviews in the papers said it was hilarious.”
“Oh, so because the papers said it was funny, it means it’s true?”
“Yep.”
“Alright, whatever you say, Baby.”
“Bailey.”
“Baby.”
“Bailey.”
“Like I said before, they sound the same.”
“I’m not your baby.”
“I know. The nickname is just cute, like you.”
“Do you always flirt with the five hundred other girls you pick up?”
“What makes you think I have that many girls?”
“Do you?”
He just kept his eyes on the road with a sly smirk on his face. Even if her assumptions were true, she didn’t need to know all of that. It unnerved him that she was asking him so many questions about himself. He had clearly picked the rare one out of the box. It was better for them to not asks questions than to act like it were an interrogation section.
At least she’s fly. He thought.
They arrived at the movie theater fifteen minutes later. Bailey was surprised to see that a lot of people were there. It was always a popular place, but there was quite more people than she had seen before. She reached into her purse to pull out her wallet when Richard’s hand stopped hers.
“No, no. I’ll pay for everything.”
“Excuse me?” she asked, crinkling her eyebrows. “I’m fine paying for myself.”
“I’m taking you to the movies.” he said. “I’m paying.”
“Why?”
“Cause it’s the chauvinistic thing to do.”
“You mean chivalric.”
“Nope.” he laughed. “Now outta my way!”
He bumped her lightly on the shoulder as he passed her. She chuckled bemusedly as she followed after him. At the ticket counter, she noticed that a familiar looking couple was a few feet away getting their refreshments. As she got a closer look, she realized it was Katie Barnes and Jeff Straight. Needless to say, they hung out in Olivia’s circle. An unpleasant feeling settled in her stomach. She was hoping to not see anyone she knew from school. Her Friday night on a date could actually end up being decent. It wasn’t going to turn out that way if Katie was there to ruin it for her.
Wait a minute? Why do you care if your date is ruined or not?
“Yo, you okay?” Richard asked, tapping her lightly on her shoulder.
“Hmm?” She snapped out of her thoughts. “Yeah. Why?”
“I think you spaced out a little.” he said. “You tripping?”
“Hopefully,” she sighed.
He asked if she wanted any refreshments. She declined because of her knowledge of how many calories there was in the popcorn.
“Now I know you tripping?” he said. “Are you one of those skinny bitches who thinks she’s too good for food.”
“I love to eat.” she defended. “I just wanna be healthy.”
“Whatever. I’m hungry. If you want any, you’re free to change your mind, like I know you will.”
He looked at her with a rather endearing expression on his face. It was obvious he rarely took himself or anything serious for that matter. Katie and Jeff walked right past them. Bailey tried to play casual as if she didn’t notice them. But just when they were leaving their site, Katie touched Jeff on his arm. She leaned over to whisper something in his ear. Shortly afterward, Jeff turned around to give Bailey direct eye-contact. Katie pointed right at her before walking away.
“Here you go!” said Richard animatedly, handing her a large cup.
“What’s in here?” she asked.
“I don’t know what you like, so I just assumed Coke.”
“Coke is a pretty standard drink.” She gave him a grateful smile. “Thanks.”
“No problem.” he said.
She felt his hand rope around her waist while he carried the refreshments in his other hand. At that moment, she didn’t feel like slapping his hand away.

Woah. It looks pretty awesome. The characters are not cliche, as far as I’ve read. (The part with “they hung out in Olivia’s circle” seemed like what a stereotype of loner teenager would think). Anyway, your writing skills are good.
