I highly recomend Turbulence Training. It is very similar to circuit training. It combines cardio(for fat burning) and resistance training(for building lean muscle tissue) into one workout. These are very fast and effective workouts that don’t have you spending hours in the gym. Most of them you can do at home! No fancy equip-
ment needed.
For example, pick 6 exercises. Complete each one for 30 seconds without rest in between. That equals 1 round. After each round rest 60-90 seconds then repeat whole circuit 3-5 more times. I like to do a bodyweight circuit(no added weights, just your bodyweight used as resistance) => squats, push-ups, planks, lunges, pull-ups & mountain climbers. Three rounds of those 6 exercises is an AWESOME workout and it only takes me 12 minutes!!!!
hope this helps!

Should Vegans only keep dogs when the dogs can be kept on a Vegan diet?
Question: Should Vegans only keep dogs when the dogs can be kept on a Vegan diet?
This came up in a past question, Someone said that a Vegan should feed their dogs vegan food if they are true Vegans. What do you think? Personally I think it’s more complex then that. Dog’s do fine on a Vegan diet, barring any previous health problems (there is plenty of research on this subject, look it up, I don’t want this to become a discustion about dog nutrition.) but if for some reason the dog cannot eat a Vegan diet I think the human Vegan should not get rid of the dog. While I think it’s regretable to feed the dog meat, you are better off giving the dog a good home and supporting the meat industry a bit, then to kick out the dog.
Everyone also should understand that we don’t have a problem with the dog eating meat exsactly. We have a problem with supporting the meat idsustry. Thoughts?

First of all, that makes no sense what this person told you.
In order to be a Vegan oneself MUST follow vegan rule, not everyone around him/her.
That would be like saying in-order for you to be a vegan all of your friends MUST be vegans. It just isn’t so.
A Vegan can own an animal and feed them whatever they wish, whether it be plain old dog food, wet food, human food or steaks. What the Vegan person decides to feed his or her pet will not effect what they are.
Further note, most vegans don’t eat meat because they don’t believe in the killing of the animal and that’s because as a human we have evolved more and have many options on buying or getting out food. Vegan’s also understand that animals have not yet evolved so they have no choice on how they get their food and like almost all animals, they DO NOT KNOW the difference from right and wrong when it comes to eating, making them excused from Vegan ways and tradition.
Hope this helped you out.

Q&A: What ingredients does a vegetarian keep in the pantry?
Question: What ingredients does a vegetarian keep in the pantry?
So I’m not a vegetarian and not actually looking to become one, but I would like to cut down on the amount of meat that I eat. The problem I run into is that I don’t like to cook from recipes. Instead I like to take the food that’s in the kitchen and make something. So what i’m looking for is a list of standard ingredients that I could keep in my pantry so I can make a tasty vegi meal when I want to.

What allergies do I need to fake to keep out of a vegetarian restaurant?
Question: What allergies do I need to fake to keep out of a vegetarian restaurant?
I’ve got a new acquantiance that will probably be asking me out to a vegetarian restaurant because he’s a vegetarian. I want to know what allergies I need to fake in order to avoid it. I figure that if I say I’m allergic to eggs, soy, and all legumes that should nuke the possibility of having to go to one. Does that combination of allergies sound plausible and is it enough to rule out every dish at a typical vegetarian restaurant?

Why do girls with vegan boyfriends keep wanting me to bang them?
Question: Why do girls with vegan boyfriends keep wanting me to bang them?
I have a lot of vegan friends. Mostly because they make me look really muscular and dominant by comparison when we hang out in public. Here’s the problem, my little vegan bro’s chicks keep wanting to bang me? I don’t want to lose my vegan bros, they make the perfect wing men at bars. What should I do?

Q&A: How do you gain muscle AND keep losing belly fat?
Question: How do you gain muscle AND keep losing belly fat?
I’ve been working out recently with moderate success, I’m certainly starting to see my abs, but I also want to gain some muscle in the process.
I know, it’s better to gain muscle and after half a year or so work on losing fat, but I don’t have that luxury out of personal reasons. I would like to gain some muscle, and meanwhile I’d like to continue losing fat, if that’s possible at all.
Note that I’m not a pro, nor do I intend to be one. I don’t need HUGE muscles, but I do need some. I’m more serious about the “losing fat” part, that’s very important.
I’m working out regularly, and I’ve been following a low-ch nutrition plan.
My question: is gaining muscle while losing fat possible (on an amateur level)? If so, how? Do you have any tips on nutrition and/or workout? Any personal experience?
Tell me if I need to clarify. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is totally possible! Actually, its easier to lose fat while gaining muscle and it is recommended to do so. I will offer you some tips as I am a med student and have had my fair share of weight loss/fat-losing/muscle building issues.
First off, do some weight lifting at least three to four times per week. It doesn’t have to be Hulk stuff, just some three to four sets with twenty reps on your arms one day and legs another day will do the trick. Do not weight lift two days in a row.. you have to skip at least a day in between and you have to alternate between your body areas (i.e. arms one day, legs the next).
If you are eating healthy and on a GOOD diet plan, then you should keep on losing fat and building muscle. Note: you will initially notice a SLIGHt increase in your weight in the first few weeks of muscle building but that is your lean muscle mass building up.. your metabolism will become faster and you will lose more fat while you weight lift.
Also, make sure you get your daily cardio in (at least thirty minutes), along with the weight lifting. Try to work out at least five to six times per day (although cardio is important every day..)
Make sure you take a daily vitamin and vitamin C capsules because they help with weight loss and nutrition. Another thing to boost your metabolism is green tea capsules.. NOW Foods Green Tea VCAPS are GREAT. They help boost your metabolism and let you burn fat faster.. they are NOT diet pills, just extract of green tea that gives you antioxidants and a metabolism boost. If you use them in combination with NOW Foods Immune Renew that is even better. You take one with a meal daily. They will boost your metabolism so they will make you a little hungrier but do not deviate from your diet plan..
Make sure you stay away from overly starchy, sugary, salty, processed, fried, etc. foods. Get a portion of protein, dairy, veggies, a small portion of fruit and a small portion of whole wheat grains in each of your three meals.. and have one small snack (i.e. yogurt and a couple of almonds and raisins or something like that) between breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner. Drink A LOT OF WATER. Do not eat after seven p.m. Add lots of black pepper to veggies cause they help with the taste..
Another thing to help with the fat burning is Phion’s Green Food extract thingy. It’s like this powder full of veggies that you add to water and drink and it boosts your metabolism (thus helping to burn fat) as well.
hope that helped =) good luck!
