Question: Has my best friend turned narcissistic? aka “i think im the hottest person alive”?
Well, I’ve known my best friend for 5 years but she is dramatically changing.
She used to have very low self esteem and always asked me 24/7 “am i fat?” and i kept telling her no (she isn’t fat) and asked all the time if she’s ugly, i said no also cause she isn’t. She’s like a average/pretty type girl but not like drop dead gorgeous, but all of sudden, she starts saying stuff like omg Im so hot, that girl is so ugly blah blah and i have a sexy body that people are jealous of. Like really stfu I wanna say that to her its getting really annoying and she’s putting herself in front thinking she’s the best and so smart and is hard to get and good looking guys want her. And she also is putting up a fake jersey shore accent cause she thinks its cool and everyone “TAWKS” like that in her school -__-.

She always suggests to me to date not so fairly attractive guys which I have no interest in, but she always ends up liking all these good looking people before i get a chance to talk to them. Like for example I liked this kid but i didn’t tell her yet i thought he was cute we talked and i was being all cute with him holding hands, next thing i know she tells me she likes him, while they barely talked and I end up giving the guy to her and now she gets all over them.

It’s getting really annoying how she’s changed i really hate it and she complains how her mom wont give her $ 100 for shopping while she has $ 2000 in her debit card that she doesn’t wanna spend. I don’t even get that much money neither do i have a debit card.

And this changed happened gradually in a month.

I had to repost this since my last one only got 2 answers, which weren’t very helpful and wasn’t longer then sentence ( like 4 words) so i highly doubt they read my question.
you can say she is smart for that but she always takes advantage of her mother.
It’s not that I’m jealous of her. I just feel like shes always in my footsteps , like if like a person or flirt with them first she than starts flirting with them, and im not gonna bother fighting her over a guy so i give them up.

It just incredibly annoys me since i hate cocky people, and i never would have thought of her as becoming this, this like started happening ever since she went to this private school and she’s starting to think shes extremely popular, and she always expects everything to be done for her 24/7 and in 123.. but she can be as slow as a turtle for another person.

She sounds like a b*tch, I wouldn’t be friends with her. It also sounds like you’re jealous of her.
