Q&A: is there a big fat content percentage between whole milk and 2% milk? An actual difference vs an advertised 1?

Question: is there a big fat content percentage between whole milk and 2% milk? An actual difference vs an advertised 1?
Some1 saw a documentary that said that 2% fat milk is only marginally different than whole milk, and that milk consumers are getting scammed when they purchased the reduced fat milk. Any insights appreciated, especially verifyable ones.

How to reduce your body fat percentage?

Question: How to reduce your body fat percentage?
I’m 24, 5’0″, 109 lbs, and I got my body fat percentage professionally measured by this new thing called the “Bod Pod”. It measured me at 30% body fat and labeled as “excessive fat”. I’m a little weirded out consider I’m within normal weight range for my age and height. They told me to do more cardio but my question is I work out on high intensity for 6 days a week and I do 3 days of strength training.

How exactly do you lower your body fat percentage without losing too much weight. I want to get my body fat percent to at least 18%-22% which is considered ‘normal.’

How can I lower my body fat percentage?

Question: How can I lower my body fat percentage?
I’m 18 years old and female.
I don’t need to lose weight, but I would like to lower my body fat percentage. (It’s at 20% right now)
I guess I’m what most people consider “skinny fat.” I’m thin, but not very toned and I’m pretty “soft” looking. I eat very healthy, but I don’t know what to do when it comes to exercise.
What can I do?
Note: I do not have a access to a gym.
I have 1, 3 and 5 pound weights; 2.5 pound ankle weights, a bike (not stationary) and a trampoline

Cardio – lots of cardio! Go out for a long bike ride. Go for a variety of fitness videos such as Tae Bo. If you don’t own any you can buy a few, rent them from many places (even netflix, and if you get a membership with them you can stream other fitness videos from them online), or ask around – I bet MANY of your friends have a collection of them. Anything that gets you breathing a bit harder and makes you sweat for at least 20 minutes a day 5 days a week. This will help bring down the amount of fat in your body. Toning up is with the muscles. If you try to tone up but not loose the fat you will build muscle under the fat. You want to reduce the fat to show the definition that you work on.

body fat percentage and pregnancy?

Question: body fat percentage and pregnancy?
I am 31, in good health, have a healthy 3 year old and have been trying to have another child for 18 months. I have had 2 miscarriages in this time (9w and 5w). It took 3 months to conceive my son and the pregnancy was trouble free. At the time I was overweight and have lost 30kg since he was born. I am still in a healthy weight range at 64kg and 175cm tall, but learned last week that my body fat percentage is 14.8%

I am confident I am ovulating as my periods are regular and I am getting ovulation signs via opk and temping, but now I wonder if my low body fat percentage is a possible contributor towards difficulty getting pregnant.
I’ve read a fair bit online around 18-20% being ideal. I didn’t realise you could be “under fat” without being underweight.

Should I disregard the body fat as a consideration or should I pursue this more?

hey. im 172 cm and was about 56kg with a BMI of 18 i think…you do sound a bit low and im guessing that just as being overweight can cause problems of all sorts so can being underweight but before you get to scared with this i think you should see your doctor. that’s what i did when i went a bit underweight and i was told that i have a fast metabolism and i need to just keep eating lol ok so my doctor wasn’t all that brilliant with this but it is good to see one and get your questions answered ;) I even had a blood test and everything is cool. now that im pregnant im going over 63kg and its niiice to have some fat happening even if most of it comes from my belly lol. best of wishes :)

p.s. i also had a miscarriage to, i dont know what weight i was but the doctor said that the miscarriage had nothing to do with me doing something wrong…it was just an unlucky thing to happen :(

Q&A: how should I increase my body fat percentage?

Question: how should I increase my body fat percentage?
this may seem like a dumb question, but how can i become “fatter”
ok, maybe “fatter” isn’t the right word, but my body fat percentage is 4%…….4%!!!!

yeah, many can agree that that’s a low number, especially for a guy

so my main question is, how should I increase my body fat percentage?
i was thinking…eating as much as i wanted to, any time, as much as i wanted to; excessively.
BUT WAIT! i can just eat any ordinary fat!!!

i need to eat UNsaturated fat, not saturated fat.

but i still dont understand something, do i still need SATURATED fat in my body? Or should i limit as much saturated fat as possible and consume UNsaturated fat?

body weight:118 lbs
height:5’6″
age:16
gender:male

i take personal fitness class at school (every other day); we lift weights, maybe run like once a week
I’m planning to run track in the spring.
i did track last year (winter and spring)

SO, whats a good body fat % for someone who is moderately strong, athletic, and fast?
