Yes, you are right. Some people might be classified as overweight by BMI for instance, yet have a perfectly healthy level of body fat because the extra weight comes from muscle or a larger build.

Question: Why is this Vegetarian person allowed to eat fries but not meat?
This person says he is just not allowed to eat flesh, but fries are OK. If I’m not mistaken, most fries are fried in Animal fat, and pure animal fat is far unhealthier than animal flesh. What form of vegetarianism is this. Aren’t you a hypocrite if you say you are a vegetarian but you eat fries?

Non-vegetarian? Is there any other term for it? Omnivore, perhaps? I want to use it for a survey. Basically I want people to tell me their food preferences in respect with being vegan/vegetarian/non-vegetarian.

Omnivore is accurate but you will see a good deal of folks that say “normal”,when traditional would also be clear.

I’m sulking.
For all things that matter my nephews and my niece are like my baby brothers and sister. Today their grandparents came over to ask for some money we owe them. They never lift a finger to help out and they don’t spend any amount of time with their grandkids. They started criticizing everything I do with the kids. “The kids are filthy”, “The food you made is junk food”, “The house is a mess” they say.
Then the grandmother makes a shitty comment about not being appropriate for me to be alone with my 4 year old niece. “How can they trust you with her? kids your age have their brains on the wrong place”. That was a very sick comment to make. I told her to go f*uck herself and come back when my brother or his wife are home because only them can stand her as$ . I used those words. I didn’t give them their money and now I’m in so much trouble.
Should I call an apologize to make peace? I can fake remorse but I really hate these people and what I told them was the truth (from my perspective at least). I don’t want my brother and his wife to stress over one more thing and yet… I don’t want to say sorry.

Sounds like you’re trying to “grow up,” and I applaud you for it. So here’s the secret that will help you deal with this. Of course I think you should apologize to them – but apologizing for YOUR behavior is not agreeing with THEIR behavior. Yes, maybe you told them the truth, in your eyes, and that’s fine – it’s not WHAT you said, but HOW you said it that was inappropriate.
Simply call them and tell them that you apologize for the way you spoke to them. Explain that they really should speak with your brother and his wife about this so they can resolve the situation. If they get nasty again, simply keep your calm and tell them it’s not your place to discuss these issues. Do not let them drag you into another yelling match. If they get loud and obnoxious again, simply say, “I really don’t want to argue about this – again, I apologize for the way I spoke to you and I’ll tell my brother you came by. Have a good evening” and hang up. You would be polite, direct and respectable.
Good luck, and it’s nice to hear a young person express that they are actually evaluating their behavior – you’ll do fine in life, I’m sure.

in my language we have a world that we say for people who …mmmmmm … i don’t know any english worlds similar to it but maybe “jinx” (sp?) things ?? i know in english jinix mean kind of different but this is the only world i can think of
i will give you examples so it will be clearer to you
- you buy a new expensive leather bag lulu sees it and say “omg u r so lucky you can buy such an expensive bag” the SAME day ur bag get ruined
- lulu sees a healthy baby (chubby) and says “wow your son is so healthy my koko was so underweight he rarly eat anything look how your son enjoy food” that night that baby gets a dairrehea and feeding him is never easy again
- meme says i wish i get high marks like u next test you get an F

How difficult is it for a person raised vegetarian to begin eating meat?
Question: How difficult is it for a person raised vegetarian to begin eating meat?
I am planning on starting a family and would like to raise my children vegetarian. My non-vegetarian wife is ok with making that decision for them until they are old enough to decide for themselves…but she is concerned that if they one day choose to eat meat, they will not be physically able to make the transition. If a person is raised to never eat meat, how would their body react if they decided to do so when they’re older?
I am a vegan myself and morally opposed to using animals for food. I would like to instill that belief in my children. As I am very open to them making their own choice when they are old enough, I just want to know that option will be available to them if that’s what they one day choose.
